Fall

I love fall in this state. The leaves turn golden, the air gets cool and crisp, the scent of the trees at night. The Fall means flannel shirts, fire pits, bright starry nights, cuddling with Bekah. I remember growing up as a small Steffi I waned to leave this state for somewhere cool like California or New York...but now, no way. I have grown to love it here and I will never leave.

Dad and I have a great life here. Bessie is also a happy basset hound living where we do. And living here meant I met Bekah, the one person I want to spend all of eternity with. If I didn't live here I never would have met her.

I am so blessed and lucky to be who I am and living where I do. I am thankful for my life and I give all of the credit to God.

Laying in Bekah's arms, whether it is after making love or just cuddling outside in front of the fire pit, is the most special place on Earth to me.

Take me home country roads.....
